Booking a high quality String Group
by Ariella Strings -
A professional string group will be of top quality and have an extensive repertoire of music to choose from. These players are full time musicians at the top of their profession and these musicians will give you the best musical performance available. Expect to pay £290 - £350 duo, £395 - £800 Trio and £500 - £1000 quartet, dependent on the length of the booking. Each group should have a price list they can send to you.

String Groups - General considerations and information
by Ariella Strings -
Weddings inevitably run late. Find out what the group's policy is on playing after the agreed time is. Sometimes musicians have to leave promptly to get to another function or event, so make sure that you are sure of the length of time you need when you are confirming the booking, as it may be too late to change it on the day!! However, most groups will try to help out if they can.

How do you choose the right string quartet, trio or duo?
by Ariella Strings -
If you want the best, enquire 12-18 months in advance as the best quartets/trios/duos get booked up early.
Ask who the members of the group are, their qualifications, and find out how long they have been playing together. If you're paying out a lot of money you want to know you are getting a quartet or a trio who know what they are doing.

Live background music for your drinks reception
by Ariella Strings -
Whilst couples tend to give much thought to their choice of music for the ceremony and evening entertainment, they frequently forget to consider their requirements for the rest of the day. Good hosts appreciate the need to keep their guests happy, relaxed and in a party mood throughout the day and a string group is one of the classiest ways to do this, especially during the time the photographs are being taken.

Why have a string group play for your ceremony
by Ariella Strings -
Ariella Strings have lost count of the number of times we have heard:
"It made such a difference having live music at the ceremony"
"The ceremony was just so special, especially having the string trio playing"

Choosing the right DJ for your Wedding...
by JUST SMILE - Wedding DJ & Entertainment -
You could spend thousands of pounds choosing the right venue, finding a stunning dress, ensuring the food is delicious, selecting stunning floral creations, but unless you do the same with you entertainment, you could end up with your reception being a beautifully decorated, stunning looking flop!

Wedding Photography
by Pho2u! -
If you do like your photo being taken then some staged shots of the bride and groom will be on the agenda for instance, however, a lot of brides are not comfortable with their photo being take, for these brides, then I would offer reportage styled photography (this means that the photographer will follow the bride and groom capturing those special moments without being in immediate presence).
